Moto Guzzi has resurfaced in Malaysia with a brand new showroom at the Gasket Alley in Petaling Jaya. Didi Resources, Moto Guzzi’s new principal in Malaysia has tied in Stronghold Cycle (formerly known as KTG Motor and Cycles) and Goh Brothers (popular Volkswagen dealer) to operate the new sales and service outfit.
The hip new showroom nestled amidst the vintage industrial styled Gasket Alley is said to be the perfect representation of the Moto Guzzi brand. The setup maybe new but there are some very familiar and experienced faces behind at the helm of its operations. During the launch, the limited edition V7 III Anniversario was unveiled, this particular unit is one of only a thousand that was built to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the model. The new V9 Bobber and Roamer were also on display alongside the older V7 Racer and Special models.
Simone Niccolai, the Managing Director of Asia Pacific 2 Wheeler, Piaggio Asia Pacific said the Moto Guzzi has the ability to attract unique new crowd as its clientele. “Moto Guzzi at Gasket Alley serves as a great platform for motorcycle enthusiast and it represents the brand perfectly. Moto Guzzi motorcycles represent craft and class and the machines are easy to ride, suitable even for the new and inexperienced riders.” said Simone.
The new service centre features a line-up of experienced Italian motorcycles technician, fully equipped service and repair bays, sufficient stock of spare/service parts and selected accessories.
