Last week, members of the motorcycle media were given the chance of experiencing the new Street Triple 765 family at the Sepang Circuit. The track session was aimed at showcasing the new Street Triple’s track prowess.

Undoubtedly, the new Street Triple far exceeded the expectations of the media test riders. Its power delivery, handling and braking impressed the riders the most. Jeya Thevan, took the saddle for TMSBK and the track day enthusiast rolled back in to the paddock with his signature grin on his face. It was a definite three thumbs up for the Street Triple.

Although all three variants are powered by the same three cylinder engine, the performance output vary accordingly. The range topping RS is the obvious winner for the level of equipment and performance output while the entry level S model does not disappoint either.

But Jeya concluded that the RS is a ‘no brainer’ choice for anyone. “I don’t really see why someone would go for the S and R (Low Ride Height) models. The RS is fully decked out with everything you can ask for on a street sports model. The M50 Brembo brakes and Ohlins STX40 rear suspension alone is more than ample to justify the price difference,” said Jeya after his spirited laps around Sepang Circuit.
